In an effort to avenge his death and take advantage of the supposed peace in Earthrealm, the evil sorcerer Shinnok and his army of minions attack, spurring on an epic war.
The story is a direct continuation of Mortal Kombat 9, taking place two years after the death of the evil Shao Kahn. Mortal Kombat 11 v1.Like Mortal Kombat 9, Mortal Kombat X contains a multi-chapter story mode containing dozens of fun fights.
